Higher Education International
Student Success for College Planning and First Year Students.
Providing support for International students looking to study in the United States.
College is no longer optional. In the last decade a college degree is a required tool to building a successful career. The standards are climbing in every institution all around the world. The United States currently, as of, 2009 have just over 3000 institutions with over 17,000,000 students matriculated.
As the demand grows and the supply remains constant, it is no surprise that College Coaches are on the rise. Unfortunately, outside the university they are almost nonexistent. The market does have a group that refers to themselves as College Coaches, however, a better way of reclassifying this group, is more of a admissions consultant service.
Higher Education Mentor was developed to provide those same services to help you prepare for admissions along with the tools for a successful "First Year Experience". The role of a college coach should not end upon acceptance but in fact just begin. Student Success is measured not in acceptance but in the ability to succeed once enrolled. True success in college is measured in the education beyond the 4.0, that is where Medical Schools, Law Schools and Graduate Schools will be expecting a student to stand out.
